Senior Developer at Green Wing Co. W.L.L.
Project Summary
I designed and developed the Eleganza Concept website as one of the core fashion e-commerce platforms under Green Wing Co. W.L.L.
The platform operated with three languages and two separate inventory/sourcing pipelines:
- English and Arabic storefronts shipped from Kuwait and served the GCC region.
- Turkish storefront shipped from Turkey and served Turkey and Europe.
E-commerce Website
- Built and maintained the platform on WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Implemented a WordPress Multisite architecture with instant geo-location based user redirects.
- Structured product listing and category flow for faster browsing and better conversion.
- Supported day-to-day merchandising, promotions, and order operations through a manageable admin workflow.
- Applied a strong minimal design direction across the storefront experience.
- Ensured product-level links were redirected to the correct regional site, not only homepage-level redirects.
- UI design for this website was done by Sahand Anvari.
- Turkey office brand representative: Saba Pouraghaei.
Key Outcomes
- Delivered a stable and scalable e-commerce storefront aligned with brand direction.
- Established a maintainable structure for product updates, campaign landing pages, and content operations.
- Resolved complex cross-site redirection logic for full product URL routing across regional websites.
Project Closure
The website was discontinued because the operating model depended on a large on-site workforce that became unnecessary and unsustainable after COVID-19 disruptions. The business was later impacted by product supply issues, which led to closure of the website operations.
